[Jing had watched the network and looked into things, so when he deduced it was a double situation, he one: checked to make sure he didn't have some law abiding clone, and two: his partner was not suddenly a bird of the celibacy, or worse, religion. So perhaps it was a bit mean of him... okay very mean of him, but he currently was plucking a single feather from Kir until the albatross noticed it in his sleep.]

[He didn't wince as Kir's beak latched on, seeing as it was far more painful when Kir and he fused together as the bird's ribs clasped around his arm. So he merely grinned, happy to see such a reaction time, honestly (although not surprised). He remembered when Kir lost the feather's on his scalp and had to wear a bowler hat until then. Jing idly thought of getting himself another cowboy hat. But back to priorities.]

Hmm, just making sure my partner is still my partner. I'm sure you noticed we've got doubles running around wearing our faces but acting as our opposites. I know neither you nor I want law abiding citizens ruining our names so how about we go check out the city?
